This nature house offers a unique view of the primeval Dutch peat meadow landscape, a beautiful cultural landscape. You can enjoy peace, space and the many meadow birds. It is detached and located on a quiet neighborhood road in Stolwijk, 10 kilometers from Gouda. The cottage is spacious and suitable for two people. The kitchen is fully equipped, with an induction hob, combi microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room and features a 2-person box-spring bed with pocket sprung mattress. The bathroom has a rain shower and double sink, and the toilet is separate. Additional options you can book: Bike rental: Regular bike for €2.50 per day or electric bike for €19.50 per day. Breakfast service: On request. Charging station for electric car: On request.
Nature and surroundings
The immediate surroundings offer many great cycling and walking opportunities, through the polder, along the rivers Lek, Vlist and Hollandse IJssel, the Reeuwijkse Plassen, or a visit to the picturesque cities of Gouda, Schoonhoven and Oudewater. The windmills of Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are also nearby. In addition, there are excellent fishing opportunities in the area.A little further, but easily accessible, are the cities of Rotterdam (25 km), The Hague (40 km), Utrecht (40 km) and Amsterdam (80 km). Also the beach of Scheveningen (45 km) is not far away.The village of Stolwijk has an authentic village square with terraces, restaurants, two supermarkets and nice stores. The nearby village of Bergambacht has a cozy village center with several restaurants.
