There is lots of nature to see and experience, lots of birds, squirrels, you can hear owls complaining at night. Lovely walking and cycling area, large moors, many old estates and museums (such as Museum More in Gorssel) nearby. The beautiful cities of Zutphen and Deventer are four to nine kilometers away, plus the Ijssel River ten minutes by bike. There is a picturesque bicycle ferry in Gorssel in the summer. Several outdoor swimming pools within cycling distance.
