A wonderful place for those seeking peace and nature, but still want to be near the lively town of Saint-Chinian. A bright, renovated nature house with an open kitchen, two bedrooms and French doors to the sunny, covered terrace, located in grounds of almost two hectares of forest. You share this land with the landlords, who have their home about 50 meters away. The two cottages are very private from one another. No one is looking on your terrace. From the house you have a beautiful view over the rolling vineyards to Saint-Chinian! Even in winter it is lovely to stay in our forest cottage, with the Godin wood stove! And for the summer an outdoor shower to cool down. The nature house has a heat exchanger for heating and cooling and solar panels.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the Parc Naturel Régional, an area of great natural beauty where there are beautiful walks and bike rides to be made. This nature house is located just outside the small village of Donnadieu in the heart of the Saint-Chinian vineyards. There is little traffic on the narrow roads to Babeau-Bouldoux and Saint-Chinian. Saint-Chinian is a famous regional wine center with (wine) stores, restaurants and terraces. There is a lively market twice a week held in the square under the plane trees on Thursdays and Sundays. Saturday flea markets are often held in the same place. Near the river Orb there are several beaches where you can swim well, but also around St. Chinian you can cool down in the river Vernazobre. The Mediterranean beaches are about a 45-minute drive from the nature house.
