The characteristic five-person Zeeland-Flemish farmhouse has fine, spacious rooms. The attractive, country style of the cottage is warm, inviting and gives you a feeling of being at home. There is a bright and well-equipped kitchen with a veranda. From here you also have access to the garden, where you can sit sheltered. The cozy living room consists of a dining area and a sitting and TV area with a fireplace. On the ground floor there is a double and a single bedroom. Here is also the bathroom with shower, toilet and sauna. On the second floor there are two single bedrooms and a spacious landing. Through the garden you reach the food forest . This is part of the landlords' new concept that they have developed alongside their organic arable farm. The principle is to mimic forest ecological processes with edible plants in conjunction with animals. In the cooking barn there is a dinner party once a month.

You will find the nature house in the middle of the polders of Graauw, a hamlet near the river Scheldt, among orchards and fields of crops. It is wonderful cycling, walking or touring along the dikes in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, enjoying wide views over the fields. For nature lovers, Het Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands, is just around the corner. Looking for history, culture, the Burgundian lifestyle, conviviality and shopping? You'll find it all in the fortified town of Hulst, eight kilometers from Graauw. Or take a nice day trip to Antwerp (25 minutes) or Ghent (45 minutes). The region is a paradise for anyone who loves good food and drink. The sea, the fields, the polders and the orchards; everywhere you see fresh, tasty products, often with that typical salty undertone. Already within few kilometers from the cottage you will find several special cafes and restaurants. If you don't want to sunbathe and swim on one of the nearby Westerschelde beaches, less than an hour away you will find the wonderful Zeeland beaches. Sheltered behind dunes and dikes in Cadzand, Breskens, Groede or Nieuwvliet you can spend hours.
