This cozy nature house is located in the middle of the Veluwe, near the cozy town of Epe. The cottage stands on a piece of forest land of 3000 m² and borders the estate. From the cottage you can make endless beautiful walking and cycling routes. Heaths, moors, woods and meadows alternate. The cottage (45m²) has two bedrooms (one with a bed of 140 x 200 and one with a bunk bed). In the sunny woodland garden there is a climbing frame, trampoline and a ping-pong table. In the evening, the barbecue and/or fire basket can be lit. The NPO series 'De Zaak Schaap' was partly filmed in and around the cottage. Nb. The cottage has been completely painted inside and outside in July 2023.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is an ideal base for wonderful walks and cycling tours through beautiful natural areas such as the Renderklippen with its sheepfold and the forestry of crown domain 'Het Loo'. In the area around estate Tongeren forest, heath and fens alternate. Cosy Veluwe town such as Epe, Harderwijk, Elburg and Hattem are nearby. You can swim in recreational lake 'Zandenplas' in Nunspeet. Also the beautiful wellness resort is not far away. On the cultural front there is also plenty to see and do, think of the Anton Pieck Museum in Hattem, the North Veluws Museum in Nunspeet, the Veluws Museum Hagendoorns Plaatse in Epe, Castle Cannenburch in Vaassen and museum 'De Fundatie' in Zwolle.
