The old town of Salviac lies on the border of the two wonderful departments of the Lot and Dordogne, less than 16 kilometers from the Dordogne or Lot rivers. In about 15 minutes by car you can be in the breathtaking part of the Dordogne on both sides of the river of the same name, with the cute little streets of Sarlat, often used as a location for film shoots. The Château Beynac and the imposing fortified town of Domme, high above the river, offer truly stunning views. La Roque-Gagéac, at the foot of the rugged cliff to admire the towering medieval castles from the water. Or explore the gently flowing Dordogne River by canoe. The Lot region offers a multitude of possibilities. Close to Salviac are lakes with beaches, where you can enjoy swimming, pedal boats and windsurfing.
