This beautiful nature house is located completely free on an estate of a small, old farm in the IJssel Valley near Deventer (10 kilometers). The estate is full of fruit and nut trees and from the cottage you look out over a walnut orchard. The mobile homes have been very nicely finished inside by a passionate hobby furniture maker. In the barn 50 meters away is a shower and toilet privately available to guests. Just in front of the mobile homes there is a fire pit where you can make a campfire under the stars. On the property is a pizza oven that is regularly lit and guests can join in for dinner (for a fee). Please let the hosts know if you would like this, and we will see if this can be made possible during your stay.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is completely free, with no buildings nearby. On the adjacent meadows of the orchard are horses, sheep and cows. There are several nature reserves nearby, such as the Gortelse hei (15 kilometers) and the Duursche Waarden (10 kilometers) and the river IJssel is a stone's throw away (1.5 kilometers). There are several clog paths (hiking trails) in the area, one of which runs along the estate.
