Gerrie December 8, 2025 General rating:Very nice and helpful owners, every day we got a basket full of wood and then the room was nice and warm in no time. Nice bed. Everything fine, towels, bath towels etc were changed regularly and the cottage cleaned. Recommended for those who like peace and quiet.

Ook werd er vanwege het mooie weer voor zonnestoelen gezorgd en als we gewild hadden, hadden de eigenaars ook nog het zwembad opengegooid uit de winterslaap. Elke ochtend werden we wakker van de vogelconcerten. Op het erf komen allerlei bijzondere vogels voor, zoals bijvoorbeeld de hop. Boven onze hoofden steeds de rode wouw en kraanvogels. Hoewel december/ januari niet de beste tijd schijnt te zijn om vogels te spotten vonden we het ongelooflijk wat we alleen al bij het huisje allemaal zagen. Verder ligt het huisje precies in het midden tussen de zeer bezienswaardige steden Trujillo, Caceres en Merida.
En ook op rijafstand van Monfrague. Het was overal enorm rustig, zowel door het seizoen als door Corona maar in Spanje was alles open, zo heerlijk, we kwamen hier weer helemaal tot leven. En prima kappers in het dorp! Op het erf allerlei dieren, leuke wandelingen te maken in de directe omgeving.
