Nice nature house in the middle of the forest on the Veluwe. You can take beautiful walks in peace and quiet in a vast nature reserve. Private kitchen and seating area. Upstairs a sleeping loft with five beds. Outside a terrace and a beautiful garden of about one hectare. Swings, a trampoline, a cable car and, if necessary, a spacious kennel are available. The road to the cottage is an adventure in itself. An unlit, winding dirt road of a mile and a half through the woods eventually brings you to the cottage. The nights here are really dark, so bring a flashlight.
Nature and surroundings
The forest area is the largest in the Netherlands. With roughly 900 square kilometers, you have the space to enjoy yourself here. There are lots of cycling and walking routes of different lengths. A subtropical (forest) swimming pool is three kilometers away. Between Putten and Garderen is a special tree garden with a 65-meter high watchtower. For children there is also (a little further away) a climbing forest. National Park De Hoge Veluwe is easily accessible from here.
