Nature house in St André de Sangonis

The nature house is incorporated into nature. Opening doors and windows provide a spacious feeling and a transition to the garden and forest . The landlords have built and decorated everything like a work of art. The terrace is covered. Unique furniture, artwork and lamps made from reclaimed wood and driftwood. An outdoor hot water pool and shower, the refrigerator, 4 burner stove and geyser run on gas and the sun. There is a neatly varnished dry toilet. Takes a little getting used to, but you get used to it quickly! The landlords empty these regularly. Your car is parked on private property. There is not a full fence, but no pet (or child) has ever escaped! No immediate neighbors. Sheets and towels are available. In case of children and/or pets the change will be charged (50eur). A homemade double bed of 140x200, space for children to camp. Or a small mezanine available, maximum two mattresses. A comfortable sofa and bed (90×200) bed in the sitting room.

Called a ' Cul de sack' in French; at the end of a cul-de-sac. Surrounded by greenery right next to the forest edge on the south side (shade) with behind it a cooling river La Lergue that further on flows into a larger river the Hérault. Between the nature house and the landlords' house is a vast fruit, park and vegetable garden. The surroundings consist of pasture , vineyards, river bank and forest. Direct neighbors with horses and other pets but who do not live there themselves. Small roads along the river, vineyards and an olive grove where you can walk. (Nature) trips are worth! Everything is close: forests, rivers, garrigues, the sea and caves. There is a beautiful lake Lac du Salagou, nature reserves like Gorges du Tarn et d'Eric, Cirque de Navecelle, Cirque de Moureze and special villages like St Guilhem le Desert, Montperoux and Pezenas. The first villages, cafe, bakeries and markets are less than 10 minutes from the cottage!
