On an idyllic 14-acre estate with two lakes, woods, fields and vegetable gardens, the Gardien is located on a hill. This was originally the house of the overseer of the estate. We have turned it into a spacious vacation home on the ground floor. You enter into a hall with a small wardrobe and the toilet. To the right you will find the living room with a round table, four chairs and a sofa bed for two. Next to it you will find a bedroom with two beds, two comfortable chairs, a wood stove and a door to the garden. On the left side of the hall you will find the spacious, cozy kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, dining table and wood stove. The windows of all rooms overlook the garden and the Domaine's beautiful hedgerow grounds. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom with sink and shower. In front of the house is a terrace where you can sit under the old plum tree with a beautiful view over the Domaine. From the house you walk straight into the vast forests.
Nature and surroundings
You will find this cottage on Domaine de Moiron, a 14-acre estate surrounded by vast forests. The beautiful chestnut avenue, the two lakes, the babbling brook, the ivy-covered trees and the oval meadow surrounded by trees, make the Domaine a special nature reserve. There are many frogs, butterflies, salamanders and other animals on the property. Birds such as black kite, kingfisher, great yellow wagtail, dipper, oriole, black stork and rock creeper are regularly seen. From the Domaine you can walk straight into the Val de Moiron. Val de Moiron is a vast forest area with hills, valleys and streams interspersed with fields and fields. An eldorado for hikers, mushroom hunters, plant connoisseurs and nature pickers.
