Enjoying the Italian outdoors. The alpaca vacation farm is located amid olive groves with beautiful views of the mountains. The sea with its sandy beach is a 1/2 hour drive away. There is an information folder ready with all the fun outings in the area: for example, to a climbing park, waterfalls or wine tasting. You can also stay at home and laze around the pool. And if you like it, you can help take care of the alpacas.
Nature and surroundings
The Abruzzo region is Italy's greenest region, with large national natural parks, unique flora and fauna and clear mountain waters. There are easy and difficult hiking trails with beautiful views. The people are very friendly and helpful, but mostly speak only Italian. The coast is crowded only during the month of August. There are both sandy and pebble beaches. The town of Chieti has an archaeological and a biomedical science museum.
