This nature house is located in the yard of the landlords. You have a view over the meadows and from the yard numerous hiking, cycling and bridle paths lead to nature reserve De Vilt, the Oeffelter Meent and the Maasheggen area. The house (with underfloor heating) is tastefully decorated in a tough, country style and equipped with every comfort. There is an open kitchen/living room on the ground floor. The kitchen has a complete inventory for six people with all the necessary modern appliances. The living room has a large corner sofa where you can lounge or watch TV. A dining area with an electric fireplace completes the vacation feeling. The bathroom is equipped with an extractor fan and has a large bathtub and walk-in shower. The toilet is separate and has an extractor fan. On the first floor there are two attractive bedrooms with air conditioning. The open loft with sofa bed has a beautiful view of De Vilt.

In the vicinity of the nature house there are numerous hiking trails, cycling routes and bridle paths. This makes it a perfect base for nature lovers. Adjacent to the lodge is nature reserve De Vilt with an area of 154 hectares. It is a pool of water in the shape of a crescent with marshy banks where storks fly to and fro. The Vilt is an old meander of the Meuse. It was naturally cut off from it 12,000 years ago. Birds like to stop there on their migration north or south. Other animal species found there include deer, badgers, owls and buzzards. Also within walking distance is De Maasheggen nature reserve (part of the Maaspad). The nature consists of kilometers of contiguous hedges, along the banks of the Meuse. For centuries in harmony with animal, plant, farmer and recreant. In the vicinity (about 15 minutes by car) you can reach the nature reserves De Mookerheide, the state forests in St. Anthonis, National Park De Maasduinen and the Reichswald.
