This nature house is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, peace and quiet, a special place to stay and a beautiful view. The tiny house is made of wood, has a porch to enjoy the view in the shade. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, a lovely double bed and all the necessities to spend a few days to a few weeks having a wonderful time. There are two sun loungers and a large picnic table at the chalet. There is a beautiful infinity pool with endless views of the grounds. There is also a wood-fired sauna. There is a charging station to electrically charge your car. There are three other nature houses for rent on the estate: one in the building from the year 1100 (it is house code 31905), a chalet on the large property (it is house code 31924) and another chalet / Tiny house (it is house code 33624). The cottage is suitable for persons 18 years or older.
Nature and surroundings
This historic place was built in the year 1100. The property stands on a large rock with enormous views at the edge of a forest overlooking the fields. The two wells on the property, one of which was already built in Etruscan times, provide the nature house with drinking water. This also fills the swimming pool that provides a wonderful cooling in summer. The impressive oak tree of +/- 700 years old, with its huge branches, provides wonderful shade on hot days with a stunning view towards the Appennines. The old oak stands along the Salt Road, this route was formerly used to bring salt from the coast to Siena with donkeys and horses. On the site one could spend the night and in the old toll house that still stands there one could pay their toll. There are ancient ruins, tombs and little rivers where you can cool off in the water and make fires to bake bread. Every day there is a market somewhere where you can buy fresh products from the area. Of course Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena are worth visiting, all a half hour to 1.5 hour drive through the beautiful countryside of Tuscany.
