This beautiful, free, quiet and centrally located nature house is a recently fully restored 'quinta'. It is equipped with all modern conveniences. The first floor is wheelchair friendly. The spacious living room includes a fireplace and a stocked bookcase. From the nature house you overlook a lush valley near the village of Marmelete. There are three spacious bedrooms (with 2.10-meter-long beds), three bathrooms, a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, a pantry, an outdoor pool and a bathhouse, equipped with a separate shower and toilet. The country house is located in a nature reserve on 30,000 m² of private land with wide views, crossed by an ever-clear flowing stream. In the citrus orchard next to the stream you can pick your own fruit. Besides the various terraces, near the pool (salt water system) there is a covered patio with outdoor kitchen/barbecue. Before arrival, the house and pool are well cleaned. Beach towels are also available. Different rental period, arrival or departure time or a stay of more than six people (including babies) in consultation possible. Extra sofa bed available.

This beautiful country house as a nature house is located in a mountainous nature reserve near the reservoir Barragem de Bravura, yet offers good access to many tourist attractions in the area. Within half an hour you can reach, for example: Monchique, Aljezur, Foia and the beaches on the west coast. Also the famous surf beaches Arrifana and Carrapateira, cities Portimao and Lagos, several golf locations and the south coast beaches can be reached in about half an hour. There are many opportunities for cyclists and hikers. A visit to the Serra de Monchique is also worthwhile; at 902 meters the highest point in the Algarve. It offers a beautiful panoramic view of the entire area. Caldas da Monchique is a Roman seaside resort. Within five kilometers you will find several Portuguese restaurants (good daily dish/choice menu €6, wine €1) and a supermarket. Upon request, a hostess will accompany you to the location and she will show you around if necessary. Interim cleaning is also possible. The landlord will gladly, for a small fee, lay out the first groceries for you.
