The nature house is located in the middle of Värmland, between Sunne and Hagfors. It is a hilly and wooded area. Although it is not a densely populated area, it has good road access in all directions. A day trip to Karlstad, Sunne, the Fryken lakes, Lake Rådam or Dalarna is very doable. The cottage is located on Lake Lakene (Lakenesjön). From the living room and the veranda you look over the meadow and the lake, which can be reached on foot. Throughout the year you have a full view of the beautiful sunsets. The layout of the cottage is as follows: an open kitchen with oven, microwave, induction hob and refrigerator, a living room with dining table, sitting area with TV and doors to the spacious veranda and two bedrooms with a total of five beds. There is one double bed, one single bed and one bunk bed. Furthermore, in the nature house you will find a bathroom with spacious shower and large sauna. In the basement there is a freezer available. The stuga stands on 1600 m² of private land and has its own parking space. Included in the rental of the cottage is use of two bicycles (with gears) and a rowing boat.

Lakenesjön is a quiet little lake of 3 by 5km. It is about 75m away from the stuga. To the east of the cottage begins the forest in which an old course of the Klarälven river lies. In the deeper bed is a marshy area where beavers still live. It is not unusual in spring and autumn to see reindeer in the meadow and garden and sometimes a fox passes by. Some time ago lynx have been seen. In winter there are several places for hiking and cross-country skiing, and there are small but well-groomed ski areas in Sunne, Torsby and Branäs. About 10 kilometers away is the village of Råda, where a supermarket can be found. A larger village, Hagfors, is about 20 kilometers away. There are, among other things, supermarkets, a bank and a bakery. For golf lovers, the golf course of Uddeholm is about seven kilometers away. There are also golf courses in Karlstad, Sunne and Torsby. The nature house is located in the middle of Varmland.
