Lovely vacation home for 6 people on the edge of the forest in Appelscha near the national park Drents-Friese Wold. The forest house is situated on a plot of 1000m2 private land. Sufficient privacy! There are 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, 1 bathroom with rain shower and an extra toilet. Ideal for a large family. The house is nice and spacious (100m2) with a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy wood stove and a separate workspace. In the large woodland garden you will find a terrace with garden table, plenty of chairs, a covered gazebo and an outdoor kitchen. There is always a place in the sun or just in the shade. For children there is plenty of room to play, build cabins or play table tennis. For adults there is a lovely hammock and Weber BBQ.The forest house is equipped with: Moccamaster, Nespresso, milk frother, combi oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi, wood stove and a well-stocked book and games cabinet. There are 3 bicycles available free of charge.

A lovely quiet, green place in the middle of the forest and nature! From the cottage you are within 10 minutes in the real forest. A little further you are in the National Park Drents-Friese Wold: forest, heathland, the sand dunes of the Aekingerzand and the Canada Lake. In the area you will find miles of walking and cycling routes as well as several challenging MTB routes. At 500m from the house is a golf course and a lovely forest pool. Appelscha also has a climbing forest, the Bosbergtoren and amusement park Duinenzathe. In the village there are two supermarkets, a bakery, bike rental and several restaurants.
