Nature house in Gilze

The nature house is a cottage for two persons, located in the outskirts of Gilze. Ideally a cottage for people who love peace and quiet and space. The cottage is located in a rural area near the A58 and therefore easily accessible. One year you are surrounded by corn fields, giving you optimal privacy, and the other year by green grasslands, giving you a panoramic view and in the distance the traffic on the A58 zooms by. The cottage is located on a quiet (former) farmyard and dates from around 1925. It has had numerous functions over the years. Now it has been completely modernized into a luxurious nature house with all modern conveniences, such as digital TV and WiFi. The cottage also features a separate, lockable storage room where you can safely store any bicycles you may have brought with you. In the large, fully fenced garden is a nice terrace where you can enjoy. Parking is possible on private property.

Gilze is one of the oldest places in the Land of Breda. To the west, south and east of Gilze are extensive agricultural areas, especially on the south side it is bordered by forest complexes; Prinsenbos, Annabos and the Ulvenhoutse Bossen. In a western spur of the municipality is the Valkenberg Estate. To the southwest extend the Chaamse Bossen. To the east lies a large-scale heathland reclamation area. To the north, on the opposite side of the freeway, lies the Gilze-Rijen Air Base, and to the west is a smaller-scale agricultural area, through which the Gilzewouwer Beek and the Molen Leij flow in a westerly direction. Both peace seekers and sports enthusiasts will find that around the nature house are numerous hiking and cycling routes. Experience the Brabant coziness in the nearby restaurants, bistros and terraces, both in Gilze and in the nearby villages. But the historic city of Breda with its cozy downtown should not be forgotten.
