In the fairy house as a nature house, the landlord has told stories for children and adults for 14 years. Now the fairy has turned it into a guest house for people who love nature. The cottage can accommodate 2 adults and 1 baby. The nature house is located in an oasis of greenery, the cows and horses are the neighbors, fields and forests are nearby. One can hear the silence here! You can enjoy the garden, relax in the hammock or barbecue. The little street dead ends in the fields. You can walk through it and after 15 minutes you are in the forest. More and larger forests are reachable by bike. The location between Ghent and Bruges is ideal for visiting those cities. The coast is also reachable in 30 to 40 minutes.There is also the possibility to follow a workshop here: healing drawing, creative expression, exploring fairy tales and other stories. Or how about felting?
Nature and surroundings
Want to enjoy the tranquility of a rural setting, relax in a lush garden, hike or bike in the wooded surroundings? Then this nature house is "the place to be"! The fairies and nature creatures will welcome you warmly! There are several hiking and biking trails nearby. For example, the Parish Field Walk of 8.5 kilometers is one of the darlings of the landlord. You then enter the Vorte Bossen with an idyllic spot by the pond. There is also the Kampveld walking route, the Beverhoutsveldpad, the Ryckevelde walking route, the Drongengoedbos, and so on. As a cycling route, the Bulskampveld cycling route of 42 kilometers is highly recommended, mainly through woods and fields. Some of the many excursion possibilities: the Zwin in Knokke, Ypres with the famous Lastpost every night, Damme the book village, Lissewege the white village, Ostend with the breakwater and the sailing ship Mercator, numerous mills etc etc.
