In the middle of the Zeeland-Flemish polder, near the fortified town of Hulst, lies this nature house. Up to six people can stay overnight. Three minutes by bike from the Westerschelde. Ideal for peace seekers, boaters, cyclists and walkers. It is a place where creativity can be stimulated. You can also attend sculpting and silver casting workshops here if you wish. Antwerp and Ghent are 40 minutes away by car. Bicycles can be rented for €7.50 per bike per day. The large guesthouse (70 m²) above a sculptor's studio is simple but equipped with all modern comforts. There are two single box springs, a luxurious sofa bed (160 centimeters wide, mattress 24 centimeters thick) and two modern bedsteads. The bathroom has a new walk-in shower, a separate toilet and urinal and is also equipped with a double natural stone sink. In the kitchen area, there are two refrigerators, a Senseo machine, kettle, induction cooktop, plates, cutlery, and so on. There is free WiFi throughout. There is a roof terrace, this also serves as your own entrance or exit with a fixed steel staircase leading to the free parking lot.

Nearby there are several nature reserves. De Putting is one of the few real old-land areas left in Zeeland. It already existed before 1200 and in 2014 an additional expansion of 150 hectares was realized. It is a bird area par excellence. There is also the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe and near Terneuzen the Margarethapolder as a new nature reserve about 15 kilometers away. The well-known and controversial Hedwigepolder is within cycling distance; the Belgian part has already been realized as a nature reserve and open to the public. Furthermore, Plan Perkpolder is in progress and portions have already been realized. One polder has already been returned to the Westerschelde; it is a 15-minute walk from the nature house and in 2018 the realization of a new inner dike nature reserve will start.
