In an idyllic location in the central heart of the Weerribben you will find this nature house. It is the place for people who love nature, silence, dark nights and a beautiful starry sky. The nature house was built in 1997 as a residential house. You can taste this atmosphere. No room is the same. And whether you come with two or more people you will always experience the warmth, intimacy and uniqueness of the building. There is swimming water and free use of bicycles and kayaks. The residence dogs are not allowed. The cottage is located in a boating village. Walking and cycling can reach the nature house via the path along the Kalenbergerpad. Renters who come by car will be ferried by boat from a nearby parking lot to the nature house. However, the parking lot is accessible by bicycle, so you can also make trips by car. A mooring for boats is available and rowboats have a safe haven in their own harbor.
Nature and surroundings
You go to the Weerribben mainly to enjoy nature, the silence and the birds. To relax. For some, sitting on a terrace or floating in a boat or canoe is more than enough. The other wants more and goes out, by bike, sailing or walking to explore the area. Review guest: "Around the cottage we were in, the biodiversity was enormous. We enjoyed the many birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, dragonflies and damselflies. Among other things, we saw apple finches, flycatchers, collared redstarts, harriers, snipes, roe deer, bats, ring snakes, green frogs, roaches and various species of dragonflies and damselflies. Consequently, the grounds of the house were very nature-friendly. There was a waterhole, an orchard, a (vegetable) garden, trees, shrubs, wood storage and a few sheds. Nature could pretty well take its course. It shows that people and nature can go together just fine."
