This nature house is a stelp farmhouse with a thatched roof, the middle part of which is furnished for our guests. Not suitable for young people. We live as owners under the same roof. It is a real family location! There are five guest rooms (12 beds), one of which is wheelchair friendly. There are four showers / toilets. All rooms are on the ground floor. There is a spacious kitchen, it is fully equipped. Filter coffee machine and Senseo available. Of course there is free WiFi throughout the house. There are many opportunities to sit outside, including a partially covered terrace. For the children there are plenty of play opportunities: a large trampoline, a soccer goal, an exciting swing above the water and a reclining swing. In spring, the orchard with its tall, flowering cow parsley and winding paths is a wonderful maze for young and old! The boat to Ameland is 10 minutes away by car.
Nature and surroundings
We would like to welcome you... in the vast Frisian wadden region where you can still see the horizon, where it is still really dark at night, so you can admire the stars and where you can still hear the silence. We like to keep it that way, so parties with loud music are not allowed. When you drive into the long driveway of the estate, you leave the world behind you for a moment... Together with family (or a group of friends) you can relax, enjoy the garden or chill in a hammock in the old standard orchard behind the farm. Need action? Wadlopen, cycling, fun workshop with the whole group, day trip to Ameland or Schiermonnikoog or a visit to the cozy town of Dokkum or Leeuwarden. Hegebeintum has the highest mound of the Netherlands, on which an old Romanesque church with a unique collection of funeral plates. The Harsta Hoeve is located on Harsta state estate, with the old, completely restored state as its closest neighbor, which can also be visited.
