This nature house, the farmhouse, is beautiful and detached, has an area of approx. 200m² and is equipped with (central) heating. The spacious, tastefully decorated, living/dining room is approx. 36m² and has authentic elements, such as the old red floor tiles (tomettes) and a fireplace. The kitchen is complete and comfortable (dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator with separate freezer). Our house has two bathrooms: upstairs: bath, shower, cabinet with 2 sinks, separate wc; on the ground floor: shower, sink, wc. On the ground floor there are two spacious bedrooms: 1 with two single beds (90*210), 1 with three single beds (90*210). Upstairs, 2 spacious bedrooms (one of 36m²) each with two single beds (90*210). For small children, crib(s), bath, playpen, chair(s) are available upon request. Furthermore, an Internet connection with WiFi is available.
Nature and surroundings
Our farmhouse is located in a rural setting with meadows and woods in the La Brenne Regional Natural Park (the park of 1000 lakes). Right next to the property runs the small river L'Allemette. A walk along the little river is definitely worthwhile. Approximately 1.5 km from our farmhouse is the castle Chateau Guillaume. The castle is surrounded by authentic Brenne houses. In the Brenne Natural Regional Park you will find extensive hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding trails. You can also go fishing and hunting (from 1 October to 1 March). At about 8 km you will find a lake with beach and playground, diving board and jetty for canoes and pedal boats. About 30 km away is the Eguzon reservoir with sunny beaches and many water sports.
