The vacation home is located in the Netherlands in the beautiful hamlet of Diependal near the village of Epen, South Limburg. The view from the attached terrace overlooking the foothills of the Belgian Ardennes and Castle Beusdael (Belgium) is unique. Vaals (Drielandenpunt), Gulpen/Wijlre (swimming pool/beer brewery), Margraten/Henri Capelle (American cemeteries) Maastricht (ancient Roman city a/d Meuse), Valkenburg (marl caves and Christmas markets), Casino, Thermea and Amusement Park), German Aachen (city of Charlemagne, hot springs), the Belgian Liege (medieval Walloon city ), Parkstad (with the world gardens of Mondo Verde, The Gaia Zoo and the ski slope of Snowworld), the Burgundian Voerstreek and many other Limburg and German and Belgian villages and cities can be reached in half an hour on foot or by car. There are also several golf courses (Mechelen/Gemmenich) nearby and the Limburg hills can be cycled and walked to your heart's content. Many terraces and culinary establishments will gladly welcome guests in the villages during their visit.
