Nature house in Chalais

This nature house stands in the yard of an old farmhouse, built in 1910, where you can stay in one of the four B&B rooms or in one of the gîtes. The house is located in the north of the Dordogne, just inside the Périgord-Limousin National Park. The region is best known for its beautiful nature, pretty villages, foie gras and truffles. So if you're looking for a place where you can spend some time relaxing in a beautiful, quiet environment, get busy outdoors and enjoy local delicacies, you'll be very welcome at this nature house. This room was recently refurbished, with the landlords leaving the old stone walls and beams in sight, in order to preserve as much of the old charm as possible, while providing comfort. The room has a large bed (180 x 200 centimeters), a private bathroom, a closet and a small sitting area. The view is over the pond, meadows and woods. The rooms in this yard have a common entrance, separate from the rental part of the house.

Outside you can explore all the land and forest (20 acres) or sit under the willow tree by the pond in the company of the sweet dogs. You will see especially many (predatory) birds and maybe a deer or two. If you want you can also use the barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven that can be found near the common terrace where you can meet other guests. In the common dining room there is a pool table, dartboard and other games available. On the property there is also a swimming pool, children's playground, ping pong table, soccer field and several lovely outdoor seating areas.
