This nature house is a Scandinavian-inspired chalet on the edge of a quiet recreation park near Putten. The nature house is an ideal base to explore the Veluwe forest on foot or by bike, but with its own garden it also creates the perfect bubble to take a break from everyday life. In the chalet you will find a TV, record player, games, DVDs, poetry and books. In front of the cottage is a private parking space. The eco-garden with native plants (a valhalla for birdwatchers) is fenced, and for a breath of fresh air you can walk straight into the woods! If you want to celebrate something special with your loved one, you can book the Cupido package upon arrival (see photos). Nature and surroundings
Within walking distance of the nature house is one of the oldest and most beautiful forests in the Netherlands: the Speulder-en Sprielderbos. Ancient oaks that seem to move in the mist that hangs in the forest. They have been formed into wondrous shapes by the ravages of time and are popularly called "the forest of dancing trees." There are also dark areas of the forest where Douglas fir and spruce trees form a dense roof of needles above you. The mysterious forest offers shelter to (predatory) birds, badgers, wild boar and red deer, as nature is free to take its course here. Because of the quietness, the chances of encountering wildlife, especially around dusk, are high. A private walk in search of wildlife is also possible with a forester, during the day or at night I can give you his number.
