This cozy wooden chalet is located on the edge of nature reserve the Bönnink in the beautiful Achterhoek in Gelderland. The nature house has everything on the ground floor. The beds are made for you! The bathroom has a shower, toilet, sink and washing machine. The cozy living room has a 4-person dining table, a sitting area with TV, radio and a pellet stove for cold evenings. The luxury kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob, refrigerator, combination microwave-oven, filter coffee maker, Nespresso machine and kettle. One bedroom has a double box spring (160 x 200), the other bedroom has two single beds. Outside, the house has a canopy with a 4-person dining table, so you can sit outside even when the weather is not so good. You can also sunbathe on the two lovely sunbeds with thick cushions. During your stay you have access to two bicycles. The house has central heating, a pellet stove and its own internet connection.
Nature and surroundings
The chalet is located in nature reserve 't Bönnink, one of the most beautiful natural areas of Winterswijk. You can make beautiful walks and cycling trips, watch special birds and enjoy the peaceful nature. There are also challenging MTB routes. Directly from the house you can walk through the woods to 't Hilgelo, a lake where you can swim, get a breath of fresh air, or settle down on the terrace of the cozy beach bar for a coffee or a cocktail? In all seasons it is enjoyable. In autumn the forest is full of beautiful mushrooms and you eat game from the Achterhoek. Also visit the vineyards and taste the Achterhoek wines. In the garden of the chalet you can see the squirrel and many birds. Take peanuts with you! Supermarket and bakery at 1 km. The center of Winterswijk is about 1.5 kilometers from the house. In the center you will find many stores, museums, theater, cinema, bars, restaurants, cafes etcetera. the weekly market on Saturday is a must.
