On the edge of nature reserve The Great Field you will find this nature house, realized in a monumental barn, on the outside still almost authentic. Inside, some old building structures are visible, combined with contemporary comfort. The house consists of two complete living areas, each with its own entrance. The large part is suitable for six to seven people and consists of a living room with open kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a small toilet. The small section consists of a living room with a kitchenette. Sleeping options include a sofa bed and an adjoining bedroom and private shower/toilet. Both sections can be combined to form a nature house for 11 people. The house has a play/storage room in the former part. Outside are two terraces with a bocce ball court and a sandbox for the little ones. For the children there are go-karts and bicycles.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on the edge of The Great Field nature reserve. There are several hiking trails in that area. The route along the small river Berkel is also nearby. The area is popular for its beautiful bike trails. From the house is a walking path towards the nature reserve and forest. This path is also a bridle path and connects to several equestrian routes. At the boarding stable next door there is room for stabling "vacation" horses. The cities of Zutphen and Deventer are also worth a visit!
