The landlords have been renting out their nature house since 2010, converting it from a dilapidated barn, using many regenerated and natural materials. It is located on their small farm, one kilometer from the small village of Lénault. Next to the spacious gite you have a south-facing garden and a large children's playground. Located on the edge of a valley, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of rural Normandy with farm animals and wildlife as your new neighbors.
Nature and surroundings
The local landscape is a mix of farmland, orchards, forests and cliffs with rivers and lakes, and the coast is an hour's drive away. In spring, the coutryside is full of wildflowers such as orchids, buebells and primroses. Normandy is famous for its orchards - enjoy the blossoms in spring and watch the fruit swell in summer until the fall harvest ready to be made into cider, poiré and Calvados. Cheers! Autumn is a wonderful time to visit - in September, misty mornings give way to warm days, perfect for exploring the countryside. The hedges are full of blackberries and other produce, perfect for picking. Watch for the numerous mushrooms that pop up at night and see what migratory birds you can spot.
