This nature house can accommodate up to four people and is very uniquely located on the water. It feels like your own "resort" with multiple seating areas right on the south bank of the Vecht River. The indoor wood-fired Finnish sauna is fully equipped. You walk through the garden directly into the water of the Vecht to cool off! There are two bedrooms and shower and toilet. In one room a 2 pers box spring and sink / mirror. In the other room 2 single beds of 90 cm. There is a well-equipped kitchen. In summer, motorboats and rowboats pass by. In winter it becomes quiet on the water. You can discover this beautiful nature with the (free) bikes or kayak (60,- per stay) that come with the cottage. The house is located in a forest near the Vecht, the Nierveer. Due to central heating and good insulation, the house can be lived in all seasons. Inside there is also a wood stove. Outside is a fire pit constructed with our large wood stove (Big John).
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is right on the Vecht, has private parking for two cars and is less than a kilometer from the center of Dalfsen and NS railway station. Hikers can walk in the direction of Zwolle (10 km) down the Zuidelijke Vechtdijk. You walk after only a few minutes between historic estates, beautiful forests and the most unique natural areas, noticing that it is also always very quiet here. It seems as if time has stood still. The very extensive area around Dalfsen has many cycling and walking routes. Canoeists can use their own kayak and explore the Vecht from Ommen to Zwolle. They can also go fishing or swimming. The Vecht is known for its clean water, but it is also very pleasant to read undisturbed on the banks of the Vecht and enjoy the view over the water. And what could be better as soon as evening falls to fire up the Big John and peer along the darkening Vecht with a good glass of wine?
