Always wanted to stay in a characteristic renovated stable on a real nature farm? Very uniquely located nature house on the edge of the Natura 2000 area Wooldse Veen. The nature house, on a dirt road, is located in the forest edge and overlooks a beautiful open field. The cottage was recently (2016) completely restored and can accommodate up to two people. The nature house has a bedroom/living room and a private bathroom. The beds are made upon arrival! The use of towels and bed linen is included in the price. In addition, there is a cozy common meeting room with bookcase, refrigerator, microwave and opportunity to make coffee and tea. Breakfast is also served here. As a nature lover, you will come into your own here. Enjoy the silence, the birds, the goat herd and nature. Nature and surroundings
Hear the tawny owl and barn owl calling to each other at night or the black woodpecker migrating through the surrounding woods during the day, spy on deer and hares in the first morning light or marvel at the wide variety of birds, butterflies and insects. Here you will find plenty of peace, space and privacy for a relaxing vacation. The eastern Achterhoek still consists of carefully preserved small-scale scenery. Peace and quiet are still abundant here. You can connect directly from the house to various cycling and hiking routes. Directly behind the nature house is the high moor the Wooldse Veen, with special flora and fauna. You can wander around here for hours. Other special nature reserves within cycling distance are the Korenburgerveen, Bekendelle, the Steengroeve (eagle owl) and the Zwillbrocker Venn followed by the Ellewicker Feld. The nature house is very centrally located. For some more culture are within cycling distance (about 10 kilometers) the historic towns of Winterswijk, Rhede and Bocholt.
