Outside you will find a spacious covered terrace with dining table and storage room, perfect for enjoying long evenings in the fresh air.The fully fenced garden is ideal for children and pets and features a barbecue for cozy summer evenings.From the house you can walk straight into the forest for beautiful nature walks, and on hot days the Ourthe offers a refreshing dip, as here the Ourthe is deep enough for swimming. Whether you come for relaxation, hiking, or adventurous activities, this cottage in Maboge is the ideal base!!!!
Nature and surroundings
Maboge is an idyllic village about 7 km from La Roche. Nature lovers are definitely at the right place! The house is not accessible by car (parking at +/- 100 m) which makes it blissfully quiet. The Ourthe runs right in front of the door. From the terrace you can watch the water flow by. You might even see a beaver! Many walks and MTB routes pass by in Maboge. So sports enthusiasts will certainly get their money's worth here. During the winter months, you can ski and downhill ski in Samrée, Baraque de Fraiture,... Excursions are nearby: La Roche with its pleasant town, castle, wildlife park, Parc Chlorofyl, Achouffe, Lake Nisramont, Le herou, Bastogne, Houffalize, ... or just read a book from the terrace. The water of the cottage is pumped from the natural ground layers. The water was analyzed and is drinkable but has a sulfur smell. The Ardennes at its best!
