The area is ideal if you love sun and beach (Ventimiglia, Bordighera, Vallecrosia, Sanremo), but also if you want to experience the real Italian culture in the villages a little more inland. Across the border in France (about 30 minutes away) are more the glitz and glamour cities like Menton, Monaco and Nice. The house is 45 minutes from Nice airport, where Transavia, Easyjet and KLM fly daily.
