This luxury apartment is built in the stelp farmhouse. The farmhouse dates from 1906 and was completely renovated between 2008 and 2021. It is very generous (64 m²), modern and tastefully decorated and has a new, complete kitchen and a beautiful bathroom (11 m²). There is a private entrance door and private outdoor seating area (gazebo) with teak furniture. The bathroom has a shower, two sinks and Jacuzzi. The apartment is insulated and has floor heating, among other things. The apartment is located in the middle of a nature reserve, with many hiking and biking opportunities. A wonderful, quiet vantage point to explore beautiful countryside, heath and forest. The kitchen has a dishwasher, combi-oven, induction hob, nespresso, kettle and dining area. A TV is placed near the sitting area. There is space for bicycle storage and charging battery of bicycles, ample space for parking a car in barn. Nearby restaurants, supermarket and bakery, museums and nice villages, such as Beetsterzwaag.
Nature and surroundings
About 300 meters behind the apartment is the Duurswouderheide, containing 10 pingoes (lakes). This pristine nature reserve is 125 acres and is a quiet walking area. At the front lies an old forest containing several ponds and behind it the Koningsdiep, an old stream that has beautifully influenced the landscape. In the vicinity of Bakkeveen and Beetsterzwaag there are many forest and heath areas. Also towards southeast Drenthe is beautiful coulisse landscape.
