You can continue up to almost 3000m. Or take the train to Zermatt. Day trip to Italy? Lake Maggiore = 1.5 hours drive. The house is practically on the valley descent - in winter on ski and snowboard or sled and in summer by mountain bike. The car you put on your reserved parking space.
