I built this vacation home into a natural stone house from 1869. I preserved the natural materials (granite stone, wood) as much as possible and combined them with new building materials. I furnished the Nature house to a high standard and in a modern style (fireplace, bulthaup kitchen, underfloor heating, Italian cotto tiles, oak parquet flooring). I used a lot of my own materials for the fixtures and fittings (oak wood for the stairs, granite stones and clay tiles for the terrace wall, ash and cherry wood for the furniture). I had the solid granite house completely sandblasted inside and out. Like new. The apartment has a sun terrace, a hot tub, a fireplace and a barbecue. The vacation apartment has been awarded 4 stars by the DTV. I charge 80 € for the final cleaning, 200 € as a deposit, 15 € optional for rented bed linen and 7,50 € optional for rented towels. You can also bring your own bed linen and towels.

As a former tree nursery gardener, I planted several orchards with 700 fruit trees of 100 old varieties on the 9.55-hectare estate. There is a fruit press in the other part of the fruit barn. In the fall, I press delicious orchard apple juice from orchard apples, pears and quinces and make cider and apple brandy without additives. I buy and sell old varieties of apples. I am a supporter of Slowfood Germany and am active in the Lusatian Convivium. There I am particularly committed to promoting a local apple variety, the Lusatian clove apple. I am committed to the "Avenue of Old Apple Trees", which runs past my apple barn in Cannewitz.
