This lovely cottage is over 100 years old and was the original dwelling on the property. It has a large double bedroom and a small single bedroom, a living room/kitchen with a wood burner for cooler winter nights and, just outside, you have a beautiful stone terrace with table and chairs so that you can eat outside and enjoy the gorgeous views and the sounds of nature. The garden is large with walnut, persimmon and plum trees and the swimming pool has a shaded gazebo with hammocks so it's a wonderful place for relaxing.

The cottage is in the Guadiaro Valley and the river flows at the end of the property. There are lots of beautiful walking and hiking routes that you can begin outside the front door of the cottage. In Spring, there is an explosion of wild flowers and in Summer, the days are hot but the evenings are cool and you can sit outside and observe the bats swooping high up in the sky. This area is paradise for bird watchers with eagles, kites and vultures and there is a vulture nesting site just a short hike away. Little wild pigs, goats and sheep are in the surrounding fields and forests and there is a lovely walk by the side of the river where you can watch turtles sunbathing.
