This nature house is a studio in an old long-gabled farmhouse. At the center is a comfortable double bed. There is also a dining table with four chairs, a sitting area with two comfortable chairs and a television. On the mezzanine there are two more single beds so that up to four people can stay here. There is a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, Senseo coffee maker, kettle, 1 stove and crockery and cutlery for four people. We are happy to serve an organic breakfast in the room. Your private bathroom with walk-in rain shower and a private toilet are across from the room. The studio overlooks the large organic vegetable garden and its small fruit and herb garden. Studio The Kitchen Garden is part of Ferme de l'Etang, an old cow and pig farm that we renovate and rebuild bit by bit. So don't expect a raked stylized environment but a relaxed farm where you can move freely and enjoy nature in and around the yard.
Nature and surroundings
This studio is located in the beautiful Belgian Voer region. From here you can be in the historic cities of Liege, Aachen and Maastricht but also in the Ardennes and even the Eifel in half an hour. The Voer region is known as a walking and cycling paradise, especially for those who do not shy away from a little hill more or less. From the farm you walk straight into nature. Don't be surprised if you see a roe deer, badger, fox, wild boar or even an eagle owl. Impressive landscapes alternate with cozy forest paths, babbling brooks and picturesque villages. But why get away? On the farm you can relax in the large organic vegetable garden, the fragrant herb garden, the small fruit garden, the orchard or the ornamental garden. There are tables and chairs in many places. For a nap or with a nice book you can relax in the shade of the walnut or pear tree. A game of bocce? Outdoor cooking or barbecuing? Enjoying the grazing cows, sheep and chickens? Go ahead!
