On one of the most beautiful places in Twente stands this monumental, authentic sheepfold. It has been originally restored and converted into a unique vacation home. It has a nostalgic, cozy atmosphere and you can spend the night here in the romantic box beds. There are two double bedsteads and two single bedsteads. In addition, there are two more double beds on the second floor. Downstairs you will find the shower and toilet. Upstairs there is a nostalgic bathtub on legs. There is also a spacious walk-in closet. There is a fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven and dishwasher, with a beautiful granite countertop. You enjoy a fantastic view over meadows and wooded areas. There is a spacious terrace with garden furniture. For the children there is a playground including a large trampoline, swings, climbing frame and go-karts. There is ample parking at the house.

The house is located on the edge of nature reserve the Springendal and the Valley of the Moss Brook. It is an undulating coulisse landscape. "The garden of the Netherlands" is the nickname of this piece of Twente. Picturesque seepage ponds, waterfalls and narrow streams in the middle of the forest provide a romantic sight. Hills, meadows, lakes, hay fields, heath and historic farms complete the picture. There are several routes and you can also walk with a guide. Ootmarsum is a town known for its art and culture. Within walking distance you will find fine restaurants such as Watermolen Bels, Restaurant de Liskoel and Restaurant De Witte Hoeve.
