The nature house, located in an 1885 residential farmhouse borders the Wadden Sea area. Only 8 minutes away from Dokkum and 20 minutes from Leeuwarden. The guest area (maximum 4 persons) has a private entrance, a private dining/lounge/relax area and and private bathroom/toilet combination. Parking is free in a private parking lot. Breakfast is included in the price. Just a quick note, the hosts serve a vegan breakfast including cheese, dairy and meats (substitutes). Consumption of non-vegan food is not allowed at the hosts. In addition to breakfast, we also serve half and full board. Our prices include fiber optic LAN internet and TV. Located directly on the Zeedijk and popular hiking and biking trails. The boat to Ameland leaves just 15 minutes by bike and 4 minutes by car from the accommodation. Bookings from 1 day possible, ask for the possibilities.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is adjacent to one of the most beautiful locations in Friesland, the Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea area was recently voted the most beautiful nature location in the Netherlands. Furthermore, there are four national parks in the region, it is a Unesco World Heritage Site, the Lauwersoog area is not far away and you have a view of the last not diked salt marsh of the Netherlands (from the Zeedijk near Vegotel). In short, a beautiful cycling and walking location with many possibilities. The sunrises and sunsets are regularly magnificent here. From our rooms you have an endless view over the Zeedijk and the meadows.
