A nature house made of recycled cardboard, that's this nature house! Welcome to the Achterhoek! This region is the perfect place for a nature vacation. Lovely cycling and seeking the peace and quiet. A night in this nature house in Gorssel makes your vacation complete. This lodge is made of recyclable cardboard, so very sustainable! As a guest of this nature house you can use all the facilities of Stayokay Gorssel. What can you find in the nature house? - a double bed (made up) and a bunk bed (not made up) of Auping - per person a towel - cooking can be done on a two burner stove, of course with included pans crockery and cutlery for four people - a refrigerator - sink with running water - a Nespresso coffee machine - shower and toilet - air conditioning - heating - breakfast basket included - WIFI - Unfortunately it is not possible to place a crib or extra beds. We are cashless, you can pay with debit or credit card with us.
Nature and surroundings
Starting in April, you can take the bicycle and foot ferry from Gorssel across the IJssel to Wilp: the Dommerholtsveer. On the other side you can enjoy cycling along the floodplains, with a stop at De Kribbe for refreshments. Cycling enthusiasts cannot wait until the ferry at Gorssel is back in service. Because that offers many more cycling possibilities, such as a round trip along the IJssel via Zutphen or cycling to Deventer. But even if you don't want to take a long bike ride, you can make the crossing with the Dommerholtsveer. Half a kilometer away is De Kribbe where you can drink coffee. On home soil, grapes also grow and flourish from which wine is made. For example, in Joppe you have Wijngaard de Zessprong. The vines were planted in 2009, and now they are harvested and toasted every year.
