Nature house in Labrame

This nature house is a wooden house in the extreme south of the Dordogne, on the border with Lot-et-Garonne. A lot of hard work was done in 2018-2019 and the result has become a charming and quirky guesthouse. There are three cozy bedrooms for a total of six guests, a living room with semi-open kitchen, a cheerful and spacious bathroom and a second, separate toilet. All rooms have windows with screens and can accommodate two people. The compact kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, oven, microwave, Nespresso and filter coffee, toaster, (stick) mixer et cetera. The sunny, spacious terrace is a wonderful place for outdoor dining in the south-facing garden of 2500m2. The wooden veranda offers shade and protection from any downpour. There is also good WiFi, a washing machine, a large freezer, an iron and ironing board, garden furniture, games for young and old and a round set-up pool of almost 5½ meters. *Outside high season discount 2 pers. possible.

Amenities such as bakeries, supermarkets and a gas station can be reached within a few driving minutes. Within a few kilometers there are several authentic villages that fall under the 'plus beaux villages de France', such as Monpazier which is even a national monument. The castle of Biron is also a monument and film set and is worth a visit with its different architectural styles and cozy core. During the summer months the region hosts many events such as medieval festivals, evening markets and concerts. Nearby Villeréal has held Saturday markets since 1269, and in summer there are weekly culinary markets in the 14th-century wooden market hall. There are many hiking trails to explore and all kinds of activities to do. There is something for everyone: castles, ziplining, museums, caves, escape games, wine tasting, gardens and parks, horseback riding, canoeing, golfing, ballooning and gold prospecting. Bergerac airport is 35 minutes away.
