The house is located in the village of Drakona near Kissamos, a village surrounded by picturesque green hills and just a few km away from the famous beaches of the western part of Crete. Our home is traditionally cretan and fully equipped for an authentic experience in beautiful Crete. Our house has wifi, washing machine, all the necessities and amenities for a smooth and relaxing stay for your family! It is an authentic, traditional Cretan house, next to the countryside, surrounded by olive trees and picturesque green Cretan hills. Many outdoor areas, with a wood oven and barbecue, fruit trees on the grounds. There are also free range chickens next to the house in a fenced open field and we can show you how to collect fresh organic eggs daily to prepare your breakfast! We provide our own olive oil and wine for guests during their stay.

Drakona is a quiet village with a "kafeneio" where you can drink some really traditional raki or a glass of wine in the company of local farmers. Near Drakona there is also the beautiful village of Spilia and also Marathokefala, Vouves and other traditional villages. It is very easy to visit many beaches in the north, but also in the west and south of Chania. Just a few kilometers away are the beautiful beaches of Kolymbari and Afrata in the north. The area of Platanias is also very close for those who want to spend a night in a local bar. To the west you will find the beaches of Ravdoucha, the world-famous Falasarna beach and the Balos peninsula. Elafonisi and Kedrodasos are to the southwest and to the south of Drakona there are Paleochora, Sougia and many more famous beautiful places.
