A characteristic retro forest house, for the enthusiast, completely free in the woods with private entrance, enclosed garden and partially covered terrace. Suitable for 4 adults and 2 or 3 children and a maximum of two pets. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a bed of 2 by 2 meters, one with a bed of 2 by 1.60 meters with crib and one with a 3-layer bunk bed, some climbing, especially suitable for children. The bathroom has bath, shower and toilet, in hall is a separate toilet. There is a wood stove in the living room. Furniture gets a second life with us. This is more durable than new furniture. The kitchen is separate from the spacious dining area. Vintage furnishings, but no dishwasher. The living room, washrooms and hall are centrally heated. There is no separate heating in the bedrooms. All windows are double-glazed. The floor is warm red estrikken, in the bedrooms there is carpet. From November 1 to April 1, prices do not include gas for heating and cooking.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a dirt road in the woods outside Otterlo. You walk from your cottage directly into forests and heathland and Nature Reserve De Zanding. National Park The Hoge Veluwe is 1500m , Nature Reserve the Planken Wambuis just as much the other way.You can use the facilities of a nearby small sustainable park. Nice petting zoo where children can help feed the animals and take a ride on the horse. Become a helper farmer or run a scavenger hunt. Store with organic products ranging from walnuts, chips, vegetarian meat substitutes to beer and wine. Souvenirs and postcards are also available. Books, DVDs and games available for free loan. You can also use the washer/dryer here for a fee. In the herb garden you can pick herbs for your meals for free.From Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to noon, the terrace is open and coffee, tea and apple pie are served.
