Nature and surroundings
The region of the Alcores, occupies the center-east of the province of Seville, between Seville and Cordoba, hosting a rich and extensive region, located on the left bank of the Guadalquivir, where the Genil and Corbones rivers flow. The wealth of monuments and archaeological sites and the tranquility that permeates the habitat, make it a place frequented and preferred by many visitors, who can quickly access Seville and Cordoba. The area of the Escarpe de los Alcores, integrates the slope of land that descends from the terraces of the Alcor, to the fertile plain. They extend from Mairena del Alcor to Carmona. Recovered areas such as the lagoon of El Barrero and its surroundings in the vicinity of Ecija, the Roman Baths in CaƱada Rosal, show the natural and scenic wealth of the region.
