Nature house in Maria Hoop

Are you ready for a few days of reflection? Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you and stay in an area in Central Limburg where it seems like time has stood still? In the nature house are DVDs, CDs and writing and drawing materials. There is (weak) Wifi. The TV works through streaming services. There is filtered water, a small smoothie blender, a Senseo and filter coffee machine and fresh eggs for each day. The two single beds have a topper. Your/your bed is made. There are plenty of hand and tea/kitchen towels, toilet rolls and in the hot summer days it is cool. You share the spacious garden with 12 free-range chickens and a few roosters. The roosters are sweet (really!) and don't come up to people. Except when they are being fed. You can enjoy biking on quiet bike paths here and walking on the quiet hiking trails plenty. It's not South Limburg here where tourism is mostly growing. You also walk straight into Germany. You can also relax in the cave.

The nature house is located in the small core of Maria Hoop and adjacent to the Annendaal forest in Echt-Susteren (Central Limburg), also called; the narrowest part of the Netherlands. It borders Belgium and Germany. In this area, many people feel that time has stood still. Supermarkets and farm stores a few km away. You can enjoy walking and cycling through the hiking and cycling nodes here. It is actually never really busy while cycling or walking. One street away is the cycle junction of Germany. You can also do your shopping in the neighboring town of Waldfeucht. Other stores are all up to 5 km away. (Electric) bikes or mountain bikes can be rented at the bike store Op de Hoek. There is next to our house, on the Pietje van Jan square, a charging point for electric cars. National Park De Meinweg is 13 km away. We live here now for almost 15 years, and still we have the feeling that time has stood still here.Come and taste it.
