Dear people this is an island, not a layby with several cottages. They are very rare! Voted the most beautiful vacation spot in the Netherlands in 2020. How proud we are (-: Sleeping in a four-poster bed on your own private island. Enjoy the silence. Dive into the clearest water in the Netherlands. Be active on the free subboards. Sail around in a boat. Read a book on the porch. Peer off into the distance over the glistening water. Make a fire in the brazier. Light the oil lamps. Barbecue at your own pace. Only 15 minutes from Amsterdam. Max 2 people on the island. No visitors allowed and no pets.
Nature and surroundings
After you have parked your car at the nicest marina in the Netherlands (Zwier) your vacation really begins. In 10 minutes I sail you to the island. Known for the clearest swimming water in the Netherlands and the beautiful nature reserve Botshol. The island is completely private so no headland. It is 8 meters wide and 50 meters long. 400m2 of pure enjoyment! The island is completely self-sufficient. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. You cook on gas and there is a small refrigerator and a barbecue. There is a toilet and a hot shower Towels, tea towels, bedding, bath towels, bathrobes, toiletries, suppboards, barbecue, firewood, coal and plenty of drinking water available. In the evening you will light up the island by oil lamps, candles, fire pit and solar-powered lamps. It doesn't get more romantic than this. The lovely four-poster bed is 160x200. You can rent a small 2-person boat for €50 per day including full tank.
