A stately nature house with a special touch. Originally the house of the doctor/mayor, now the property of an artist. In the middle of the garden, (3000m2) surrounded by meadows, this stately lady awaits guests who are looking for and can appreciate a slightly different atmosphere. You enter in a hall, on one side the living room (salon), on the other side a cozy living and dining kitchen. Shower and toilet are also on the ground floor. An oak staircase leads to the second floor, a landing with balcony, next to which is the master bedroom (double bed) and smaller bedroom with two separate beds. There is also an intermediate bedroom. All windows overlook the garden and the surrounding meadows. On the second floor is the studio, a large bright room with skylights where big and small creative people can draw or paint, or children can play to their hearts' content on a rainy day.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located at the edge of a small village of Gennetines, on a dead-end road with a farm at its end. Cows in the meadow in front of the door. No traffic: the only person using the private road is the farmer who drives by a few times a day. It is therefore also a safe place for children. From the house you walk within 10 minutes to the nearby forest. The large oak forest of Troncais is 12 kilometers away, where you can walk, sunbathe and swim in the lake surrounded by oak trees. The house looks like a proud lady with wrinkles but one that warmly hugs you upon entering. Not a house specially decorated for rental but with a very personal touch. Light and a special atmosphere. partly because of the art on the wall. Wood stove in the living kitchen, fireplace in the lounge.
