Nature house in TERRICCIOLA (pisa)

On the second floor of the farmhouse lives the family, on the ground floor is the apartment intended for agritourism hospitality. It consists of a large kitchen-living room with fireplace, two double rooms for a total of four beds, bathroom. The pergola overlooks a large lawn behind the house where, in the evening, you can dine outdoors. . It is completely barrier-free and open year-round.All rooms are equipped with heating and wood for the fireplace is provided by the farm. Hot water comes from a solar energy system and electricity is produced by the photovoltaic system The farm does not offer food service, but the 'apartment is self-contained and fully equipped for cooking. It is possible to buy the farm's products: fruits, vegetables, olive oil, eggs...Bed and table linen is provided by us. Animals are welcome.

We have been a family-run farm since 1998 cultivating organically a 10-hectare farm consisting of an olive grove, orchard, vegetable garden, pasture and forest located within a "wildlife buffer zone" where hares, pheasants, wild boar and roe deer can live free and protected. Dormice, squirrels and various species of birds populate the oaks in front of the house. We raise Amiata goats, cows, sheep and donkeys: specimens of endangered breeds and farmyard animals. Valleantica is located 12 km. from the Casciana thermal baths and is an excellent starting point to reach the cities of art: Florence 80 km., Siena 70, San Gimignano 50, Pisa and Lucca 40, Volterra Livorno and the Tyrrhenian Coast 30. Through a path among the fields it is possible to reach the Badia di Morrona, an ancient monastery of the Camaldolese Friars (11th cent.) In the Alta Valdera Park there are interesting archaeological sites crossed by the "Wine Road of the Pisan Hills"
