This well-insulated nature house was built in 2007 with sustainable materials. The plot includes 1800 square meters and offers a lot of privacy. Around the nature house there are hardwood terraces, 80 centimeters above ground level which gives one a beautiful view of the lake and there is always a windless place to be found to enjoy the sun. There is also a jetty with accompanying table and bench where one can relax at sunset or cast the fishing rod. The recreation house consists of a living / dining kitchen, by the sofa bed also be used as a bedroom, a basement where in case of enormous heat always cool to sleep and a bedroom above overlooking the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, 5-burner stove with wok burner). Furthermore, there is a bathroom adjacent to the hall consisting of a toilet, shower and sink. Also, the cottage has Wi-Fi.

The nature house is situated in a unique place, both right on the lake and in the vicinity of Haarlem, Amsterdam and Zandvoort aan zee. The possibilities for recreation are numerous: with the 2 available canoes on the lake, via the Spaarne into the city of Haarlem or via the ring canal around the entire Haarlemmermeer. One can also go to Haarlem or Zandvoort (about 10 kilometers) on the 2 available bicycles. By public transport (Haarlem Spaarnwoude station about 4 kilometers away) there is a direct connection to Amsterdam Central Station. For the enthusiast there is a surfboard available with accessories. Monthly rental during the months of October to March is also possible.
